FMS-Enterprise Gateway.
Based on common feedback from majority of customers, active directory interface on FMS-Enterprise
Gateway has been enhanced to facilitate the administrators to issue any query they want, to retrieve
information from their central repository. This greatly simplifies initial deployment and everyday
management of the system and provides single screen interface to add new users or update existing user
profiles.
FMS-Enterprise Gateway's user group based management approach has proved very popular among
administrators as it empowers them to manage users as groups rather than having to keep track of
individual users. The new active directory enhancement further adds to ease of management and
granting of rights of use on the network.
FMS-Enterprise Gateway is the only device available today which is capable of enforcing active
directory permissions on the wire for documents and users alike. This feature enhancement
takes Clear Packets closer to its vision of enforcing static permissions defined and stored in the
active directory and apply them on the wire in real-time. It is key part of Clear Packets vision
and strategy to empower the customers to be able to carry out Web 2.0 communications with
real-time security enforced on the wire as defined in the active directory.
